Bits & Pretzels, the 3-day event for founders, start-up enthusiasts, investors and business incubators taking place from September 25 – 27, 2016 during the Oktoberfest in Munich, introduces a special guest for this years’ event: Sir Richard Branson, successful British Entrepreneur and Virgin-Founder himself, will direct an appeal to the German start-up scene. Branson will answer essential questions about how to build successful companies. The iconic entrepreneur will be on stage on the second day of the event (9/26/2016) at the International Congress Center in Munich. A press conference is scheduled after his one-hour speech, innovation-village.com reported August 9, 2016.

Bits & Pretzels connects more than 5.000 participants with Speakers and Table Captains like founders of Virgin (Richard Branson), Airbnb, Evernote, Kayak, Home24, Runtastic, Delivery Hero or King.com. Bits & Pretzels creates unique networking around Munich Oktoberfest and encourages meaningful relationships between founders, investors and the media. Bits & Pretzels 2016 will be divided into six clusters, representing the most important mega trends of the digital entrepreneurship industry. Based on those clusters, we will create rooms and ways for startup founders, investors and journalists to network and learn in the best way possible.

The event’s official website at bitsandprtetzels.com also points out the importance of the media for start-ups and says:

“What’s the difference between new and news? Public awareness. At Bits & Pretzels you can give the media and the public a chance to become aware of your ideas. In 2016 hundreds of national and international journalists will cover the conference hunting for an exciting story. So how about you start telling your story!”
